A new currency of the world, I find it quite appealing that this has begun to happen especially that its phasing out the useless dollar bill but i also dont believe this will be an effect for of money in the long run. The way i see things is that as long as people are still struggling to survive there will be no such thing as a logical type of currency. the reason being is there is no world wide living standard.
The reason i say this is because all of those rare earth minerals being collected as money are still needed as components for technological advancement. now i do believe silicon and glass will take major struts in the near future being used in batteries and more but gold and the important ones are truly necassary for many things.
Now im not saying any utopia is truly possible but lets say we were to eradicate roughly 75% of the human population without destroying the earths surface.
Next you would create scaled super cities that are half buried and or floating (especially floating ones) the reason behind this is with 70% of the earths surface being water and being able to have a constant fuel source through pure oxygen and hydrogen gas in a near inexhaustible form. it would also allow for large scale hyroponic grows without too much work.
and theres nothing stopping those who want to just live in the woods with self suffiecent housing as well tho theyd have to pay for it themselves.
all im saying is its not impossible to have a utopia but it will never happen with a multi government world. i dont care if different areas want different laws but without an impartial 3rd party the human race will never advance beyond its atypical slavery of a lower finacial class. as in the end 90% of jobs can be done with a robot especially with the astounding growth and traction of AI. if people wanted the only forms of work would be self entertainment. as almost all entertainment facilities could be self suffiecent and free as no one would work people would get stipends and if they contribute to society more
